Men in Police Uniforms Accused of Taking New Motorcycle in Karachi, Citizen Submits CCTV Footage

Karachi: Two men wearing police uniforms have allegedly taken away a newly purchased motorcycle from a citizen in Karachi’s Gulshan Ghazi area. The affected citizen, Waqar Ahmed, has submitted an application to the police along with CCTV footage of the incident and appealed to senior officials for the recovery of his motorcycle.

According to the citizen, the incident took place in Gulshan Ghazi, Baldia Town, where two armed men dressed as police officials allegedly took his new Honda 125 motorcycle from his employee.

The complainant said the men told him to come to Madina Colony Police Station for further discussion, but when he reached there, officials informed him that no such personnel were present at the station.

Citizen Files Complaint With Police

In his application submitted at Ittehad Town Police Station, Waqar Ahmed stated that he operates a water filtration business in Gulshan Ghazi Block 1.

He said that on the day of the incident, he had given the motorcycle to his employee, Muzammil, to bring children back from a nearby madrassa. When the employee returned, two individuals allegedly approached him outside the shop and took the motorcycle away.

The complainant claimed that both men were wearing police caps, while their faces were covered with masks.

CCTV Footage Provided to Authorities

Waqar Ahmed also provided CCTV footage to the police, which allegedly shows the two individuals taking the motorcycle from his employee and leaving the area in separate directions.

He said that after reaching Ittehad Town Police Station, he was asked to wait until the Station House Officer (SHO) arrived before further action could be taken.

The citizen has requested senior police officials to investigate the matter, arrest the alleged suspects, and recover his newly purchased motorcycle.

Police authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident or the progress of the investigation.
