Rawalpindi, January 13, 2026 — Pakistan’s security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation conducted in Kalat district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
According to ISPR, the operation was carried out on January 12 following credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants affiliated with an Indian-backed proxy group, Fitna al Hindustan. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the militants’ hideout, resulting in an intense exchange of fire in which four militants were neutralised.
ISPR said weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area, posing a serious threat to peace and security.
The military’s media wing said sanitisation operations are ongoing in the surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining militants and ensure the complete clearance of the region.

“The resolve of the state remains unwavering to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the statement added.
