Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Ali Amin Gandapur organized a high-level delegation to discuss the ongoing initiatives of public living conditions in the province. Among the delegations led by the UN coordinator for Pakistan Mohammad Yahya were also members, such as Mrs. Hiroko, Mrs. Afki Bootsman and Carlos Abbas Geha. During the meeting, which also recorded the participation of MNA Faisal Amin Gandapur, another main secretary for planning and other higher provincial officials, detailed discussions on various UN agencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were held. One of the key topics of the discussion was the health sector, especially the effort to eliminate the virus virus, improve the health of mothers and children and prevent the death of newborns. Main Minister Gandapur stressed that eradication polio remains one of the highest priorities of the provincial government and, in cooperation with international partner organizations, is developing significant and focused efforts to streamline waste campaigns. In addition, the main minister emphasized the obligation of the government to improve education, especially for girls, and an effort to increase the level of literacy in merged districts. He shared that the girls in these districts received 36,000 scholarships to support their education. Other topics covered during the meeting included the environment, culture, tourism and rural development. The Chief Minister also assured the delegation that the provincial government was taking serious steps to ensure that all religious and cultural minorities in the region, with initiatives such as providing solar systems for all places of worship, were to ensure the well -being of all religious and cultural minorities. Problems with security and traffic problems concerning the UN agencies working in the province have also been discussed. Chief Minister Gandapur assured the delegation that the provincial government will closely cooperate with the UN agencies and will take all the necessary measures to ensure the security and security of its employees. The UN delegation appreciated the efforts of the provincial government in the medical sector and recognized the ongoing work in various social security initiatives. Main Minister Gandapur expressed gratitude for continued support of the UN agencies and reaffirmed the government’s focus on areas that will have a direct positive impact on people’s lives.
