ISLAMABAD: Jubilee Life Insurance has partnered with Unikrew Solutions to introduce a Multi-Biometric Verification System (MBVS)-compliant digital onboarding solution aimed at making insurance customer verification more secure, seamless and accessible.

The partnership will enable Jubilee Life to strengthen remote identity verification by incorporating camera-based fingerprint acquisition and facial biometric verification into its digital onboarding process.

The initiative is aligned with NADRA’s MBVS compliance requirements and is designed to reduce dependence on manual identity verification while improving security and convenience for customers purchasing or accessing insurance services digitally.

The collaboration brings together Jubilee Life’s digital transformation strategy with Unikrew Solutions’ expertise in biometric and digital identity technologies.

As financial services in Pakistan increasingly move towards digital channels, biometric identity verification is becoming an important part of customer onboarding, particularly for institutions seeking to improve security while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.

For insurers, digital verification can help shorten onboarding times, strengthen identity assurance and allow customers to complete more of the insurance process remotely without relying heavily on physical documentation or in-person verification.

Jubilee Life said the initiative forms part of its wider digital transformation efforts focused on improving accessibility, operational efficiency and customer experience.

Javed Ahmed, MD and CEO of Jubilee Life Insurance, said digital transformation was changing the way customers access and experience financial services, including insurance.

“Our collaboration with Unikrew Solutions enables us to strengthen the digital onboarding journey through secure and compliant biometric verification, while making the process more seamless and accessible for our customers,” he said.

Ahmed added that the insurer remained focused on using technology and digitisation to build customer trust, improve convenience and provide a more connected service experience.

Muhammad Naveed Sharif, CEO of Unikrew Solutions, said the partnership would support secure and seamless customer onboarding while contributing to digital trust and regulatory compliance in Pakistan’s insurance industry.

“We are pleased to collaborate with Jubilee Life Insurance to enable MBVS-compliant digital insurance onboarding,” Sharif said.

The development reflects a broader shift across Pakistan’s financial services sector towards biometric identity infrastructure and remote customer verification.

Banks, fintech platforms and other financial institutions have increasingly adopted digital identity tools as customers move towards online and mobile services. Similar technology is now gaining relevance in insurance, where companies are seeking to simplify customer journeys without compromising identity security or regulatory obligations.

For Jubilee Life, the new onboarding system is expected to support the company’s efforts to digitise customer-facing processes while improving the efficiency of identity checks.

The partnership also highlights how biometric verification is emerging as a key component of Pakistan’s transition towards more digitally enabled financial services, allowing companies to combine convenience with stronger safeguards against identity-related risks.
