Pakistani actress Javeria Saud has shared a personal experience from her Hajj pilgrimage, describing an unusual incident that she says occurred during the sacred journey in 2022.
Javeria Saud and her husband, Saud Qasmi, performed Hajj in 2022. Speaking about the experience, the actress said she noticed a strong fragrance coming from her hands despite not using any perfume while in the state of Ihram.
According to Javeria Saud, the scent appeared unexpectedly and caused concern because the use of perfume is prohibited during Ihram. She said she sought guidance from an elderly woman accompanying the group, who advised her to wash her hands.
The actress recalled that she washed her hands several times with soap, but the fragrance did not disappear. She added that the elderly woman advised her not to discuss the matter with others, though members of the pilgrimage group eventually became aware of it.
Javeria Saud said the fragrance continued to emanate from the palm of her right hand for three days before disappearing on its own.
Speaking about the incident later on a television programme, she said a religious scholar present on the show described the experience as a special blessing and mercy from Allah.
The actress’s account has attracted attention on social media, where many users have shared reactions to the personal and spiritual nature of the experience.
