ISLAMABAD: Pakistani TikToker Jannat Mirza has expressed concern over a fake AI-generated video featuring her face, saying that using someone’s identity without permission is a serious matter.
The video circulating on social media appears to show Jannat Mirza with an unidentified man, with the song Achhi Lagti Ho playing in the background.
Sharing the video on her Instagram Story, Jannat said, “This video is not a joke at all,” and questioned the use of people’s faces to create such content without their consent.
She said that while her face had been used this time, similar misuse could happen to other women in the future.
Jannat also pointed out that women who are not active on social media could face similar risks if their photographs are obtained and manipulated without their knowledge.
The incident has renewed discussion on social media about AI-generated content, identity misuse and the risks associated with creating or sharing manipulated videos without consent.
