According to details received by Dunia News, IT exports were worth 1.44 billion dollars in the fiscal year 2019-2020, and exceeded 3.22 billion dollars in fiscal year 2023-2024.
According to the Ministry of IT’s report, last fiscal year, IT remittances contributed 10.5% to the country’s total exports, and the industry’s trade surplus of 2.82 billion dollars helped manage the currency crisis.
The document received by Dunia News also stated that IT remittances made up 41.3% of the country’s total exports.
