Meta has been working on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) features into its social media platforms in recent months. Now, a new report reveals that Instagram is set to introduce a feature that will allow users to create their profile picture using AI technology.
Developer Alessandro Paluzzi shared information about this new feature, which he discovered while changing his profile picture on Instagram. The feature is named “Create an AI profile picture,” and Paluzzi also shared a screenshot of it on X (formerly Twitter).
He mentioned that Instagram is working on a feature that will help users create AI-powered profile pictures, although there are not many details available. This feature will likely be based on Meta’s LLaMA AI model. Currently, Instagram users upload a photo from their device to set as their profile picture.
It is important to note that the company has neither confirmed nor denied the introduction of this feature, so it remains unclear when it will be rolled out.
