MADHYA PRADESH: The mysterious death of 30-year-old Indian social media influencer Nidhi Tiwari has left her followers and fans in shock.
According to Indian media reports, Tiwari, who was from Madhya Pradesh, had around 900,000 followers on Facebook and 700,000 on Instagram. Her videos reportedly attracted millions of views, making her a well-known figure in the Indian social media space.
Tiwari won the Miss Pretty India title in 2024 and was pursuing opportunities in modelling and acting. She was also active in digital content creation and modelling projects.
Indian media reports said Tiwari’s family found her hanging at their home last week. Her relatives took her to a hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.
According to her family, Tiwari had been speaking to someone on the phone shortly before the incident and appeared distressed.
Police told the media that they are investigating the conversation she had before her death, along with other circumstances surrounding the case. Authorities are yet to determine whether the incident was a suicide or involved foul play.
The investigation is ongoing.
