ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive of Global Times Media Europe and Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas for Italy, Ikramuddin, was awarded a certificate in recognition of his active role in the Green Journalism Conference held at the COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad.

The conference was organized jointly by the OIC-COMSTECH and the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology (FUUAST), bringing together media professionals, academics and policymakers to discuss environmental reporting and sustainable journalism practices.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar, Vice Chancellor of Federal Urdu University Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari, senior journalist Javed Chaudhry and other distinguished guests attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Ikramuddin expressed his appreciation for the successful organization of the conference. He congratulated Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari and Conference Secretary Assistant Professor Dr. Sikandar Zarin for their efforts in arranging the event.

The conference focused on promoting awareness of environmental issues and highlighting the role of responsible journalism in addressing climate and sustainability challenges.
