LOWER DIR: Hundreds of people announced their decision to leave various political parties and join Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) during a joining ceremony held in Peto Dara constituency, Yar Khan Banda Dub, Village Council 16.
The new members, led by Haji Sabit Khan, formally announced their affiliation with JUI at a gathering attended by local political and social figures, party workers and community elders.
JUI Provincial Vice Emir Mufti Fazal Ghafoor, Lower Dir District Emir Maulana Huzaifa, Vice Emir Maulana Nabi Shah, Muzaffar Syed Advocate, Malik Aurangzeb, Shahab Usmani and other leaders addressed the gathering.
The JUI leaders welcomed the new members and said the participation of workers and local residents was important for strengthening the party’s organizational structure at the grassroots level.
JUI Leaders Outline Organizational Priorities
Speakers said JUI would continue raising issues affecting local communities and seeking solutions to problems related to basic facilities and public rights.
They urged party workers to maintain coordination and unity and encouraged the newly joined members to participate in political and social activities in accordance with the party’s manifesto and organizational discipline.
Local leaders also called for a stronger political voice to address public concerns and improve access to basic services in the area.
JUI leaders assured the new members that they would be given opportunities to participate actively in party activities.
The ceremony concluded with JUI leaders congratulating and welcoming the individuals who had left other political parties and joined JUI.
