ISLAMABAD: Pakistani model and social media influencer Huma Saleem’s Instagram account became inaccessible a day after she publicly accused an unnamed national cricketer of harassment, threats and emotional abuse, prompting widespread discussion on social media.

Users attempting to access her profile are now shown a message indicating that the page is unavailable. It remains unclear whether the account was removed by Instagram or deactivated by Huma Saleem herself.

Allegations Shared on Instagram

Earlier, Huma Saleem posted a series of Instagram Stories alleging that an unnamed Pakistani cricketer had subjected her to harassment, threats, and mental and emotional abuse.

Although she did not identify the individual, she claimed the alleged conduct continued despite two months of no contact. She also alleged that the person had recently begun issuing threats.

Claims of Legal Action

Huma Saleem said she had remained silent for an extended period despite what she described as an abusive relationship, but later decided to speak publicly.

She further alleged that the individual had contacted her family members, friends and professional associates, claiming this had affected her reputation. She also stated that she intended to pursue legal action and would provide evidence supporting her claims to her legal team.

No Official Response Yet

The identity of the cricketer mentioned in Huma Saleem’s statements has not been made public.

As of now, no cricketer has issued a public response to the allegations, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not released an official statement on the matter.

The allegations remain unverified, and no findings have been announced by any court or investigating authority.
