Islamabad: In a historic collaboration aimed at revolutionizing health education in Pakistan, the Health Services Academy (HSA) has partnered with MarCom Private Limited to launch the country’s first ever public health YouTube channel. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed at the Health Services Academy in Islamabad today, marking the start of a ground-breaking initiative to change the way health information is disseminated to the public.
According to the terms of the agreement, the Vice-Chancellor of the Academy of Health Services, Professor Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan and MarCom Executive Director Ms. Madiha Naseem Khan MoU in the presence of team members from both sides. MarCom, a leading advertising agency renowned for its innovative approach to communications, will spearhead all aspects of the channel’s development, including content creation, show formats, promotion and channel management.
This partnership marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s healthcare industry as it brings together HSA’s expertise in public health education with MarCom’s expertise in effective communication strategies. The YouTube channel will serve as a platform to provide accurate, accessible and engaging health information to the masses, covering a wide range of topics including preventative care, disease management, healthy lifestyle practices and more.
Speaking about the collaboration, Professor Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice-Chancellor of HSA, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative and said, “This partnership marks a new chapter in our efforts to promote health literacy and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
