The inaugural Ultimate Padel League concluded in Karachi after three days of competition, with Hoor Fawad and Amara Ishtiaq winning the women’s doubles title. The tournament, organized by Johar Sports Arena in collaboration with the Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs Department, featured men’s, women’s, mixed doubles and Under-15 categories.
The event brought together 26 teams and showcased the growing popularity of padel in Pakistan, with players competing across multiple divisions before enthusiastic crowds.
Champions Across Categories
In the men’s doubles final, Kashan and Abdullah claimed the championship by defeating Muhib and Sharym, who finished as runners-up.
Kashan also secured the mixed doubles title alongside Zoha, while Hoor Fawad and Swayam finished as runners-up in the category.
In the Under-15 boys’ competition, Rayyan and Arsh emerged as champions, with Zaid and Zaid Zaman taking the runners-up position.
Women’s Final Highlights
Hoor Fawad and Amara Ishtiaq delivered a strong performance in the women’s doubles final to defeat Yamna and Zoha, who finished as runners-up.
Hoor Fawad capped off a successful tournament by reaching the mixed doubles final, where she added a runners-up finish to her women’s doubles championship.
Closing Ceremony
Former Pakistan Test cricketers Tauseef Ahmed and Mohammad Sami, along with sports analyst Mirza Iqbal Baig, attended the closing ceremony as chief guests.
The dignitaries distributed trophies and prizes to the winners and praised the organizers for promoting padel and encouraging greater youth participation in the rapidly growing sport.
