Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, today visited the National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad, Pakistan’s premier incubator and accelerator funded by the Ignite National Technology Fund, managed under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), Pakistan.

Upon arrival, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi was warmly received by Project Director NIC Islamabad, Sayyed Ahmad Masud, and General Manager-Projects Ignite-National Technology Fund, Muhammad Bilal Abbasi. The visit provided a firsthand look at the groundbreaking work being cultivated within the incubator’s vibrant ecosystem.
His Excellency Mr. Kundi had the opportunity to engage directly with a cohort of remarkable startups, each demonstrating ingenious solutions and ambitious visions. These included, Fabify, Demetronics, DressUp, KarobarBox, Pani Express, Poultry Baba, ezGeyser, Detectra, EKKO Private Limited, Crown Creation, Newvative, Learnonline, Truly Pakistan and Najoomi.
During the interactive sessions, the founders passionately shared their startup journeys and articulated the critical problems their ventures are effectively addressing. The Honorable Governor expressed keen interest in their progress and the potential impact of their innovations.
Project Director Sayyed Ahmad Masud provided a comprehensive overview of NIC Islamabad’s impact, while GM Projects Ignite Muhammad Bilal Abbasi detailed the Ignite National Technology Fund’s role in supporting innovation across Pakistan. Mohammad Ali Ibrahim, Vice President Hashoo Group, highlighted Hashoo’s contribution in supporting startups and the rapid growth of the ecosystem and opportunities for Pakistani youth.
In his address, Governor KPK Faisal Karim Kundi commended the NIC Islamabad for its vital role in bridging gaps and fostering innovation. He emphasized the critical importance of fostering a nationwide culture of innovation, stating, “This level of ingenuity and dedication is precisely what Pakistan needs right now. It is imperative that such incubation opportunities are not limited to a few hubs but proliferate across every province, empowering our youth, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to drive progress and ensure our collective ecosystem flourishes.”
