MATIARI:The Aga Khan Maternal and Child Care Centre (AKMCCC), Hyderabad, in collaboration with Matiari Health Services Hospital, successfully organised a one-day Health Camp on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Matiari Health Services Hospital, Matiari. The camp focused on preventive care and early diagnosis of various health conditions.450+ patients benefited from this one-day camp.
The event provided a wide range of essential health services to the community. A team of experts from AKMCCC provided consultations and services across multiple specialties, including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Skin Diseases, Eye Diseases, Bone and Joint Diseases, Child Health, Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Thyroid and Heart Diseases.
In addition to the consultations, the camp facilitated access to diagnostic services at a reduced cost. Participants benefited from a 50% discount on sugar tests, ultrasounds, and X-rays.ECG services were also available to camp participants at a subsidised cost.
The camp aimed to address the diverse health needs of the community by providing specialised medical care and promoting health awareness. Participants received personalised consultations and were guided on lifestyle changes, treatment options, and follow-up care for better health.The initiative also helped raise awareness of common, yet often overlooked health issues, and offered an opportunity for expert guidance to manage them effectively.
