Talking to the media on this occasion, the Havelian Union of Journalists said that even during the dictatorship, the PECA Act was not legislated to suppress the voice of journalists, but now in the democratic government The PECA Act has been passed by the National Assembly and implemented throughout the country, attacking freedom of the press. He said that the federal government has implemented this black law without taking media representatives, including journalistic organizations, into confidence. We strongly condemn this act and demand that the government immediately withdraw the PECA Act and end the unrest among journalists across the country.
