The absence of the surname “Bachchan” led social media users to speculate whether Aishwarya has officially dropped it from her name.
However, a quick look at Aishwarya Rai’s Instagram profile suggests otherwise, as her name on the platform still includes “Bachchan.”
Some social media users commented that Aishwarya has her own identity and does not need the “Bachchan” name. They suggested that omitting the surname at the event was likely a professional decision.
Notably, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in 2007, but rumors of their separation have been circulating for some time now.
