PESHAWAR: Hamza Foundation has appealed for blood donations and financial support for 26-year-old Thalassaemia Major patient Rehanullah, a resident of Timergara in Lower Dir who requires regular transfusions to survive.

Rehanullah has been living with Thalassaemia Major for the past 15 years and needs a blood transfusion every 10 to 15 days. He is currently receiving treatment at Hamza Foundation in Peshawar.

The foundation said the absence of dedicated blood transfusion facilities for Thalassaemia and haemophilia patients in Timergara forces affected families to travel long distances for essential treatment.

Hamza Foundation provides regular blood transfusions and medical care to patients from different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It has urged blood donors, philanthropists and charitable organisations to support Rehanullah and other patients requiring continuous treatment.

The foundation said timely blood donations and financial assistance could help ensure uninterrupted care for patients whose survival depends on regular transfusions.

It also reiterated its commitment to supporting Thalassaemia and haemophilia patients and called for greater public participation in voluntary blood donation.
