Gunmen Open Fire on Passenger Buses in Balochistan’s Surab, Two Injured

Unknown armed assailants opened fire on two passenger buses in Surab district of Balochistan, injuring two passengers, according to police. The buses were traveling from Panjgur to Quetta when they came under attack.

The injured passengers were shifted to a nearby hospital by Rescue 1122, and police said both are out of danger. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident as security forces continue to assess the situation.

Attack Targeted Buses Traveling to Quetta

According to Surab Police, the shooting occurred while the passenger buses were en route from Panjgur to Quetta. The motive behind the attack was not immediately known.

Police officials said unknown gunmen opened fire on the vehicles, leaving two passengers injured.

Rescue and Investigation Underway

Rescue 1122 teams responded to the scene and transported the injured to hospital for medical treatment. Officials said their condition is stable and not life-threatening.

The Station House Officer (SHO), accompanied by police personnel, reached the site after the incident. Law enforcement agencies have begun collecting evidence and are investigating the attack to identify those responsible.
