Opening batter Gull Feroza led the chase with a composed 78, while Sidra Amin added 57 as Pakistan reached the target in 43 overs for the loss of five wickets. The result gave Pakistan a 1-0 lead in the series.
Sri Lanka had earlier scored 210 for nine after being asked to bat at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium.

The disciplined bowling effort left Pakistan needing 211 runs to secure a winning start to the ODI series.
Gull Feroza and Sidra Amin Lead Successful Chase
The Pakistan women’s ODI win over Sri Lanka was built around half-centuries from Gull Feroza and Sidra Amin.
Feroza’s 78 provided the foundation for the chase, while Amin’s 57 helped Pakistan remain in control despite losing five wickets.
Pakistan completed the target with seven overs remaining, sealing a comfortable five-wicket victory in the opening match.
The second ODI will be played on Saturday, when Pakistan will have an opportunity to secure the series and Sri Lanka will aim to level the contest.
