Mumbai: An old interview of Bollywood actor Govinda has resurfaced online amid renewed reports surrounding his marriage to Sunita Ahuja, drawing attention to his past comments about the possibility of a second marriage.
According to Indian media reports, Govinda had said in the interview that he believed in destiny and that his horoscope indicated a second marriage in his life.
The actor had reportedly gone on to say that if he developed a relationship with another woman in the future, marriage could also be a possibility, suggesting that Sunita should be prepared for such a situation.
The same interview also featured Govinda speaking openly about his co-stars Juhi Chawla and Divya Bharti, whom he reportedly admitted to liking.
The resurfaced comments have gained renewed attention at a time when Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s nearly four-decade-long marriage has again become the subject of media reports.
Sunita had recently made allegations concerning alleged extramarital relationships, which Govinda denied. His manager, Shashi Sinha, later said that Sunita had formally withdrawn her divorce petition.
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja married in March 1987 and have two children, daughter Tina and son Yashvardhan.
The resurfaced interview, however, reflects comments made years ago and does not by itself establish any current plans or developments regarding Govinda’s marriage.
