MARDAN : The annual prize distribution ceremony of Government Higher Secondary School Baghdada was held with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by renowned philanthropist, social activist, and educationist Ibrahim Dawood as the chief guest.
The ceremony saw the participation of students, parents, and past and present PTC chairmen. Various shields and certificates of appreciation were distributed to students who excelled in academics, including those securing top positions in exams. Additionally, students maintaining full attendance throughout the year were recognized.
Special awards were given in different categories, including Qari of the Year, Scientist of the Year, Player of the Year, and Artist of the Year. Senior prefects from both high and higher secondary sections were also honored.
Teachers were acknowledged for their contributions, with awards given to those excelling in district-level competitions and school tournaments. The Best Teacher Awards for the academic session 2023-24 were won by Fazal Hussain (Middle Section), Yasir Arafat (High Section), and Manzoor Ahmad (Higher Secondary Section).
A highlight of the ceremony was the Lifetime Achievement Awards presented to retiring teachers and staff for their dedicated service. The event concluded with an inspiring and motivational speech by the chief guest, Ibrahim Dawood, leaving both students and teachers enriched with valuable insights.
