ISLAMABAD, August 15, 2026: GOPKZ has launched what it describes as Pakistan’s first AI-powered online travel agency, introducing a digital tourism platform designed to help travelers plan and book trips across the country.
The platform was unveiled at a ceremony at the Marriott Hotel, Islamabad, with representatives from the tourism sector, diplomats, business leaders and other stakeholders in attendance. The launch was held with the support of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and was broadcast live by media outlets including Discover Pakistan and HUM News, according to the company.
AI-Powered Travel Planning
At the center of the platform is an AI-based itinerary planner that allows users to generate customized travel plans using a text prompt.
GOPKZ has also introduced “Nigehban,” its digital mascot, as part of the platform’s tourism experience.
The company says the AI system is designed to simplify travel planning by allowing users to create personalized itineraries based on their individual requirements and travel preferences.
Coinciding with the launch, GOPKZ introduced its “PAKISTANZINDABAD” promotional campaign, offering a 14 percent discount on bookings during the Independence Day weekend.
Muhammad Shahroz Habib Leads Platform
Muhammad Shahroz Habib, Group Executive Vice President of Siddiqi Hospitality and GOPKZ, is leading the initiative.
Habib previously held corporate roles associated with major retail campaigns at Daraz and holds certifications including Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Project Management Professional (PMP), according to the company.
Speaking at the launch, Habib said GOPKZ aims to build more than a digital travel website by creating an ecosystem connecting technology companies, local businesses, investors, youth and freelancers.
“We are not just launching a digital travel website; we are building an integrated national ecosystem that connects tech innovators, local businesses, and global investors while paving structural pathways for our brilliant youth and freelancers.”
Industry Connect Initiative
Alongside its travel platform, GOPKZ is developing the “GOPKZ Industry Connect” initiative in collaboration with the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).
The initiative is intended to connect local businesses with organizations including the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) while developing training and academic partnerships with institutions such as COTHM and the Pakistan Young IT Entrepreneurs Association (PYITEA).
The company says these partnerships are aimed at expanding opportunities for Pakistani developers, freelancers and businesses by connecting them with international markets.
Focus on Pakistan’s Digital Tourism Sector
The launch represents GOPKZ’s effort to combine artificial intelligence, tourism services and business networking within a single digital ecosystem.
The company says its broader objective is to make travel planning more accessible while promoting Pakistan’s tourism destinations, cultural heritage and hospitality sector to domestic and international travelers.
Note: Claims describing GOPKZ as Pakistan’s “first” AI-powered online travel agency and statements regarding the scale of endorsement at the launch are based on information provided by the company and have not been independently verified.
