Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a strong recovery, with the per tola rate rising by Rs16,300 to Rs464,062, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association. The increase comes a day after one of the steepest declines in the market, when gold plunged by Rs43,600 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs13,975 to Rs397,390, reflecting a broad rebound in domestic bullion rates following the previous session’s sharp fall.

Silver follows upward trend

Silver prices also moved higher, with per tola rates rising by Rs570 to Rs7,457, while 10 grams increased by Rs489 to Rs6,390.

Global prices support recovery

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $163 per ounce to $4,413, contributing to the recovery in local rates.
