KARACHI, August 5, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp increase on Wednesday, with the rate of 24-karat gold rising by Rs10,000 per tola as international bullion markets witnessed a major surge amid growing geopolitical uncertainty.

According to market data, the price of 24-karat gold reached Rs437,936 per tola, compared with Rs427,936 per tola in the previous trading session on Tuesday.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs8,573, reaching Rs375,459, compared with Rs366,886 recorded a day earlier.

In the international bullion market, gold prices surged by $100 per ounce, reaching $4,155 per ounce.

The latest increase reversed the previous day’s decline, when gold prices had dropped following a slight correction in global bullion rates.
