Gold prices increased in both international and domestic markets on Saturday, reversing the previous day’s decline. The rise in global bullion prices pushed local gold rates higher, according to market data.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $11 per ounce, taking the global rate to $4,111 per ounce. The increase was reflected in Pakistan’s local bullion market, where prices also moved upward.
Gold Prices Increase in Local Market
Following the global trend, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan increased by Rs1,100 per tola, reaching Rs433,536 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs943, settling at Rs371,687.
Silver Prices Also Move Higher
Silver prices also recorded gains in the local market.
The price of silver per tola increased by Rs30 to Rs6,462, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs26 to Rs5,540.
The latest increase follows a decline in gold prices recorded during the previous trading session, reflecting continued fluctuations in international precious metals markets.
