KARACHI: Gold prices fell in both global and domestic markets, while silver rates saw a moderate rise, according to market reports.
In the international bullion market, gold prices declined by $14 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,100 per ounce. Locally, the price of gold also fell, with per tola rates dropping by Rs1,400 to Rs432,436, and per 10 grams falling by Rs1,200 to Rs370,744.
Conversely, silver prices experienced a modest increase. Per tola silver rose by Rs11 to Rs6,432, while per 10 grams silver increased by Rs10 to Rs5,514.
The fluctuations in precious metal prices reflect ongoing global market trends and local trading conditions, impacting both investors and retail buyers.
