Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan on Friday, October 2, 2026 After Previous Day’s Drop

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Friday, October 2, 2026, reversing part of the previous day’s decline as international bullion prices moved higher.

In the international market, gold increased by $20 per ounce to $4,181, compared with $4,161 a day earlier.

The upward movement was reflected in Pakistan’s local bullion market, where the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,000 per tola to Rs440,636.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose by Rs1,715 to Rs377,774.

The latest increase comes after gold prices fell sharply on Thursday, October 1, when the per tola rate dropped by Rs3,000 to Rs438,636 and the 10-gram price declined by Rs2,572 to Rs376,059.

Despite Friday’s recovery, precious metal prices remain sensitive to changes in international bullion markets and wider geopolitical developments.

Silver prices also moved higher on Friday.

The price of silver increased by Rs50 per tola to Rs6,578, compared with Rs6,528 a day earlier.

The price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs43 to Rs5,639, up from Rs5,596 on Thursday.
