Karachi: Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both international and local markets on Tuesday.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $104 per ounce, bringing the new global price down to $4,098 per ounce.
Meanwhile, in Pakistan’s local bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs10,400, taking the new rate to Rs432,236 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs9,360 to settle at Rs368,985.
At the same time, silver prices also moved lower in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola dropped by Rs487 to Rs6,664, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs438 to Rs5,641.
