KARACHI, Wednesday, September 16, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a fresh record on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold jumping Rs7,900 per tola to Rs457,236, reversing the previous day’s decline as international bullion prices also moved sharply higher.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs6,773 to Rs392,006, compared with Rs385,233 on Tuesday.

Wednesday’s sharp increase more than reversed Tuesday’s decline. On September 15, gold had fallen Rs4,000 per tola to Rs449,336, while the 10-gram rate dropped Rs3,429 to Rs385,233.
