KARACHI, October 9, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Friday, with the rate of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs5,900 per tola to Rs440,936 as international bullion prices also moved higher.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs5,058 to Rs378,031, reflecting the latest increase in the domestic bullion market.
In the international market, gold gained $59 per ounce to reach $4,184, supporting the upward movement in local prices.
The latest increase followed a smaller rise in the previous trading session. On Thursday, October 8, gold had gained Rs600 per tola to close at Rs435,036.

Silver prices also moved higher in the local market.
The price of silver increased by Rs144 per tola to Rs6,512, while the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs123 to Rs5,582.
