ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday urged tourists from all over the world to explore the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Pakistan. In his message on World Tourism Day, Gilani said, “Pakistan is rich in natural beauty and by promoting tourism we can create employment opportunities and contribute to the overall prosperity of our nation. He highlighted the importance of Pakistan in religious tourism and noted that the country is home to important religious sites for Buddhists, Sikhs and Hindus that attract pilgrims from all over the world. “Almighty Allah has blessed Pakistan with stunning mountains, high altitudes, deserts, rivers and scenic areas,” he added.
