ISLAMABAD: Fresh graduates can apply for a one-year Management Trainee Programme launched by the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), offering selected candidates a monthly stipend of Rs80,000.
The programme, operating under the Ministry of Energy, aims to provide young professionals with practical training and opportunities to develop their professional skills.
PMDC is offering two management trainee positions in Sales and Marketing and Legal departments. Selected candidates will undergo training for one year and receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs80,000 throughout the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Pakistani citizens and should hold at least 16 years of education, including a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant field from an HEC-recognised institution.
Candidates must have:
- A minimum 3.0 CGPA
- Completed their graduation during 2025–26
- A maximum age of 28 years on the date of the advertisement
- Relevant post-qualification experience is not mandatory
PMDC has clarified that the traineeship will be offered on a contractual basis and will not establish an employer-employee relationship between the trainees and the corporation. Completion of the programme will also not create any obligation on PMDC to offer permanent employment.
Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be required to participate in a written test and interview. The final merit will be determined according to the following weightage:
- Academic record: 30%
- Written test: 40%
- Interview: 30%
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the subsequent stages of the recruitment process. PMDC said no TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing in the selection process.
