ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has shared a simple procedure for citizens who have forgotten their Pak ID account password or are unable to log in.
According to NADRA, users can regain access to their Pak ID accounts by completing a few steps and setting a new password.
On the Pak ID login screen, users should first enter their CNIC number and select the “Forgot Password” option.
Users will then be asked to provide an email address. NADRA says that if they do not remember the old email address linked to their account, they can enter their currently active email address and select “Continue.”
An OTP (One-Time Password) will then be sent to the entered email address. After entering the OTP, users must complete the biometric verification process according to NADRA’s instructions.
Once biometric verification is completed successfully, users can create a new Pak ID password and log back into their account.
NADRA has advised citizens to keep an active email address associated with their account and safeguard their account information to maintain access to Pak ID services.
