Moreover, he called for unity and coordinated efforts during such emergencies. The recent flooding, he noted, was an unforeseen situation. All relevant institutions, he added, are working together to manage the crisis.

As part of the visit, Abdul Aleem Khan inspected a relief camp at Government Boys High School in Jalalpur Pirwala. As part of the visit, the minister reviewed the facilities provided to displaced families and assessed the progress of ongoing rescue efforts.

In addition, he assured that the NHA will remain alert throughout the crisis. Coordination with the provincial government and district administration, he emphasized, will continue to ensure timely and effective action. During the briefing, communications officials explained that water from two rivers had reversed flow. This unusual condition created extraordinary challenges.

Authorities confirmed that teams are monitoring the situation closely. They are taking steps to minimize damage and protect citizens. Relief workers continue to provide food, shelter, and medical assistance.

Later in the day, Abdul Aleem Khan inspected rest areas along Motorway M-5, including Jalalpur Pirwala Rest Area. During his inspection of Motorway M-5 rest areas, including Jalalpur Pirwala, the minister expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the washrooms and ordered immediate improvements. In addition to these directives, he called for the construction of new executive washrooms modeled after those on M-2 to enhance traveler comfort.

Kitchens and canteens were also reviewed to assess food prices and quality, ensuring that public facilities meet acceptable standards. The flood relief operations Multan remain a top priority for federal and provincial authorities as they continue to respond to evolving conditions across the region.
