RAWALPINDI, August 11, 2026: Security forces killed five terrorists during an intelligence-driven operation in Panjgur district, Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

According to the military’s media wing, the operation was conducted on August 10 as part of an ongoing counter-terrorism campaign in the province.

ISPR said the militants belonged to what it described as “Fitna Al Hindustan”, a term used by Pakistani authorities for India-linked militant proxies.

Weapons, Ammunition and IEDs Recovered

Security forces also recovered and destroyed a cache of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the site, ISPR said.

The military added that sanitisation operations were carried out in the area after the engagement to eliminate any remaining threats.

Counter-Terrorism Operations to Continue

ISPR said the operation was part of Pakistan’s broader counter-terrorism campaign under the Azm-e-Istehkam framework, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

The military reiterated that security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue operations against what it described as foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism across the country.
