Firdous Jamal Says Shah Rukh Khan Is ‘A Big Star, But Not a Great Actor’

Veteran Pakistani actor Firdous Jamal has shared his views on Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, saying he considers him a major film star but not a great actor. The remarks were made during a recent television interview while discussing acting and artistic legacy.

Responding to the question, Firdous Jamal said acting is not an inheritance, a state or an academic degree that can be passed from one person to another.

Criticism of Shah Rukh Khan’s Acting

The veteran actor said he believes Shah Rukh Khan’s performances have several shortcomings.

According to Firdous Jamal, Shah Rukh Khan’s acting style and physical presentation do not meet the standards he associates with great acting. He added that while Shah Rukh Khan is undoubtedly one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, he does not consider him a great actor.
