Federal minister orders immediate reopening of NFC Faisalabad office

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has taken swift notice of the closure of the National Fertilizer Corporation (NFC) office, directing immediate action to resolve the matter.

According to official sources, the Minister requested a detailed explanation from responsible officials and instructed the Secretary and Additional Secretary to submit their report by Monday. The order emphasized that the NFC office must be reopened without delay.

The Minister expressed serious concern over the incident and demanded high-level clarifications from all responsible parties. Immediate measures were ordered to restore normal operations, including the de-sealing of the NFC Faisalabad office.

Officials confirmed that the Federal Minister had instructed that steps for institutional recovery and operational continuity should be implemented immediately. The authorities involved have been asked to provide a comprehensive report and explanation regarding the circumstances that led to the closure.

This swift action underscores the government’s intent to maintain accountability and ensure uninterrupted functioning of key institutions.
