ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced summer vacations for public educational institutions in Islamabad from May 25 to July 31, 2026.
According to a notification, model schools, colleges and other federal educational institutions in Islamabad will reopen on August 3, 2026.
During the summer break, heads of institutions and administrative staff will continue office work from 9am to 1pm.
The notification said coaching classes for students of classes 10 and 11 will also be arranged in June and July.
Repair work, training sessions and other administrative activities will continue in schools during the vacation period.
The announcement comes after Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan had already announced summer vacations for educational institutions.
