KARACHI, August 22, 2026: Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) has been named Pakistan’s Best Bank (Mid-Sized) at the 11th Pakistan Banking Awards 2026, marking the bank’s second consecutive win in the category.
The recognition highlights Faysal Bank’s performance in Islamic banking, digital capabilities and customer-focused financial services, as the bank continues to expand its operations across Pakistan.
Faysal Bank currently operates a network of around 900 branches nationwide and provides Shariah-compliant financial products and services to customers across the country.
Bank highlights transformation and Islamic banking
Group Chief Executive Officer Juma Abul said the award reflected the bank’s transformation and its focus on providing innovative, customer-centric and Shariah-compliant banking solutions.
Chairman Mian Muhammad Younis said the recognition demonstrated the growing strength of the bank’s Islamic financial services and its long-term strategic direction. He also thanked customers for their continued trust.
President and CEO Yousaf Hussain said receiving the award for the second consecutive year was a significant achievement for the bank and credited its customers and employees for their contribution.
Pakistan Banking Awards recognise sector performance
The Pakistan Banking Awards recognise financial institutions for performance, innovation and contributions to Pakistan’s banking and financial services sector.
Faysal Bank said the latest recognition reflects its ongoing efforts to strengthen its Islamic banking model, expand digital capabilities and provide financial services to customers across Pakistan.
