Pakistan Army successfully test-fires Fatah-4 cruise missile: ISPR

Rawalpindi — The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that the Pakistan Army successfully conducted a training launch of the newly inducted Fatah-4 cruise missile today. The launch took place at a range of 750 kilometers and marks a significant advancement in Pakistan’s conventional missile capabilities.

The Fatah-4 cruise missile, developed indigenously, features advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids. Its terrain-hugging flight profile allows it to evade enemy missile defense systems. Moreover, it can engage targets with high precision, enhancing Pakistan’s strategic deterrence.

According to ISPR, the missile is part of the Army Rocket Force Command. The Fatah-4 cruise missile will strengthen the reach, lethality, and survivability of Pakistan Army’s conventional missile systems. This reflects Pakistan’s growing emphasis on indigenous defense technologies.

The launch was witnessed by the Chief of General Staff, senior officers from the Pakistan Armed Forces, and dedicated scientists and engineers. Their presence highlighted the collaborative effort behind the missile’s development and deployment.

ISPR also reported that the President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs congratulated the participating troops, scientists, and engineers. They praised the successful conduct of the Fatah-4 cruise missile training fire.

This achievement reinforces Pakistan’s commitment to precision, innovation, and indigenous capability in national defense.
