Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has shared a memorable story from her career, revealing that she once skipped watching a performance by close friend Shah Rukh Khan in order to meet global pop icon Michael Jackson.

Speaking during a recent interview, Farah Khan recalled that she was choreographing performances for a major event featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and other leading stars.

According to Farah, the event sponsor informed her that Michael Jackson might attend the programme as a special guest. Moments before Shah Rukh Khan’s performance was due to begin, she received confirmation that the legendary singer had arrived at the venue.

Farah said she immediately left the stage area to meet Michael Jackson. Recalling the moment with humor, she said the sponsor asked what would happen to the performance she was overseeing.

“I told them Shah Rukh Khan could be met later, but an opportunity to meet Michael Jackson was something I could not miss,” she said.

The filmmaker described the encounter as one of the most memorable moments of her career and said meeting the late pop superstar was a rare experience she was unwilling to pass up.
