Faad Waheed has been elected Senior Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (PVMA), pledging to work for the welfare and sustainable growth of Pakistan’s ghee and cooking oil industry.
In his maiden address after assuming charge, Waheed highlighted the industrial sector’s role in job creation and in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of vegetable ghee and cooking oil at affordable prices.
He said he would work with leading industry players to address challenges facing the sector and sought their cooperation, receiving full support from the association.
Speaking to the media, Waheed thanked senior PVMA members for their trust and confidence in his leadership and said he would use his experience and understanding of industry affairs to support the sector’s long-term growth.
Waheed previously served as Senior Vice President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2022 to 2024 and as an Independent Director of the National Productivity Organization, Government of Pakistan.
He currently serves as Director Operations and Public Relations at Waheed Group of Companies.
