England Cricket Board Delegation Arrives in Pakistan to Review Tri-Series Preparations

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of the England Cricket Board (ECB) has arrived in Pakistan to review preparations for the upcoming ODI tri-nation series involving Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka in October 2026.

According to sources, the ECB delegation’s visit is part of routine preparations for the series. During its stay, the delegation will review arrangements in Lahore and Rawalpindi and hold meetings with security officials and representatives of the relevant local administrations.

The delegation will first review arrangements in Lahore before travelling to Rawalpindi.

The tri-series is scheduled to begin on October 18 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where Pakistan will face Sri Lanka.

Pakistan will then take on England on October 20, followed by the Sri Lanka-England match on October 22 in Rawalpindi.

The series will subsequently move to Lahore, where Pakistan and England will meet on October 25. Pakistan will face Sri Lanka on October 27, while Sri Lanka and England will play their second match against each other on October 29.

The final of the tri-series will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on October 31, with the top two teams in the standings competing for the title.
