Lahore sessions court directs suspect to join investigation and adjourns hearing until August 6.

LAHORE: A Lahore sessions court has granted interim bail to Shoaib Shaukat, a co-accused and associate of social media personality Rajab Butt, in a case involving the alleged assault of TikToker Ayesha Jutt.

The order was issued by Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Asim Shehzad, who approved the interim bail application and directed that the relief remain effective until August 6.

The court also instructed Shoaib Shaukat to join the police investigation and directed investigators to present the case record at the next hearing.

According to police, the case was registered at Nawab Town Police Station, where Shoaib Shaukat has been accused of allegedly assaulting complainant Ayesha Jutt.

The allegations remain under investigation, and the court has not reached any findings on the merits of the case.

The matter has been adjourned until August 6 for further proceedings.
