RAWALPINDI: Director General ISPR held a special session with vice chancellors and senior faculty members from universities across Pakistan during the National Security and Strategic Leadership Workshop 2026 in Rawalpindi.
More than 200 vice chancellors, deans, registrars and senior teachers from universities across the country attended the workshop. Participants from Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Multan and Quetta also joined the session online.
During the session, DG ISPR discussed key issues related to Pakistan’s internal situation, particularly matters linked to national security.
Participants said the Pakistan Army had played an important role in the defence, stability and security of the country.
They said Pakistan achieved a major victory in Marka-e-Haq due to the armed forces and expressed confidence that the country’s defence was in strong hands.
