Kohat: Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Karim and District Police Officer Kohat Dr. Zahidullah formally inaugurated the anti -polio campaign starting on February 3 to children under the age of 5. The Deputy Commissioner (General), District Khateeb, DHO Kohat and other relevant health officials were also present. The meeting was given a detailed briefing on the arrangements and preparations for the anti -polio campaign. Deputy Commissioner Kohat strongly directed that every child be accessed during the campaign and achieved a fixed target in every case. He appealed to polio vaccine to protect his children from permanent disabilities and cooperate with polio teams to completely eliminate the polio virus from Kohat. He said that every person in the society will have to play his role in eliminating polio and our joint efforts will be possible to eradicate polio.
