Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make his Hollywood acting debut after a glittering career on the pitch, starring in his first scripted television drama series, Day Ones.
The Al Nassr captain will not only appear in the series as an actor but will also serve as an executive producer, marking a major step into the entertainment industry.
The series is being produced by UR-MARV Studios, a joint production company founded by Ronaldo and acclaimed filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, known for directing several internationally successful films.
The cast also features former France football star Thierry Henry, British actor Damian Lewis, British rapper Dave, and actress Carlota Banat.
The story follows fictional football agent Stanley Dalton, who navigates the high-pressure world of modern football while confronting power struggles, fierce competition, and the business behind the sport.
According to British media reports, filming is currently underway in northwest London. Industry experts believe the series has strong potential to attract a global audience on streaming platforms by offering a dramatic and realistic look at the world behind professional football.
