Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Malik visited the Solar & Storage Expo Pakistan 2026 at the Expo Centre Lahore, where he met exhibitors and reviewed the latest developments in renewable energy, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging technologies.
During the second day of the exhibition, the minister toured booths of national and international companies participating in the event. The visit focused on emerging clean energy technologies and their potential role in supporting Pakistan’s transition to a more sustainable energy system.
StarCharge Showcases EV Charging and Energy Storage Solutions
As part of his visit, Dr. Musadik Malik stopped at the StarCharge booth, where he was received by Omar Malik, Director Pakistan at StarCharge.
According to the company, its leadership team briefed the minister on StarCharge’s energy storage technologies, EV charging infrastructure, and clean energy solutions designed to support
Pakistan’s growing demand for sustainable power and low-carbon transportation.
Focus on Renewable Energy and Public-Private Collaboration
Discussions during the visit highlighted the importance of expanding renewable energy adoption and developing modern EV charging infrastructure to help meet the country’s energy needs while reducing carbon emissions.
The minister acknowledged the participation of industry stakeholders at the exhibition and emphasized the importance of innovation, investment, and collaboration between the public and private sectors in advancing Pakistan’s climate and sustainability objectives.
The Solar & Storage Expo Pakistan 2026 brings together policymakers, technology providers, industry leaders, and investors to showcase renewable energy solutions and promote partnerships that support Pakistan’s clean energy transition.
